Welcome to Texas Sneakers

When I first started @utexassneakers on Twitter four years ago, I had no idea that it would ever become more then a Twitter account.

My goal was create a place where University of Texas sneakerheads, collectors, and fans of the Longhorns could come together to discuss anything and everything related to burnt orange Nike shoes. From poking around on various forums and social media platforms, I knew there was a community out there that was just as obsessed about these hard to find kicks as I was, and I set out to create a place that they could call home, at least on the internet.

Fast forward to today, and Texas Sneakers has made the move from social media presence to full on sneaker blog. On this site you will find updates and the latest news regarding University of Texas Nike sneakers. Additionally, you can look forward to weekly site original content, such as detailed pictures and reviews of rare Texas sneakers, as well as sneaker related happenings in the great state of Texas.

Texas Sneakers has always been a medium for the greater Texas Longhorn sneaker fan base, and the brand has always served to share the thoughts and content of the community it was created to bring together. If you as a reader feel that you have something to contribute (such as an awesome collection or a juicy tidbit of information), please do not hesitate to reach out and we will work with you to get it created and posted.
