Burnt Orange or White? Longhorn Baseball Gets Both With New Huarache Cleats

It’s a question seemingly as old as time for UT fans; burnt orange or white? On one side you have a hue that is vividly unique, and on the other a color that is clean if not downright icy.

Fortunately for Texas Baseball, Nike has an answer to this difficult problem. The Swoosh has hooked up UT with both colors for the upcoming 2019 season, seeding the team with burnt orange and white player exclusive colorways of the new Alpha Huarache Elite 2. In addition to primarily sporting one of the school’s two colors, each cleat features the Longhorn logo displayed prominently on the heel, as well a gradient midsole that fades from burnt orange to white.

The 2019 Horns debuted in the white Alpha Huarache Elite 2s in this years Alumni Game, and will likely switch between them and the orange pair throughout the course of the season.
